Staffing Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate daily staffing coverage for rehabilitation communities in Illinois by interacting with Program Managers, licensed therapists, and students. Manage regional float therapist schedules, maintain placement databases and weekly logs, and conduct morning staffing calls to address emergent needs. Liaise with contract companies to review schedules and invoices, while communicating recruiting needs to assigned recruiters. Support new hire onboarding as a liaison between HR and operations, and participate in weekly meetings to update staffing requirements for the Chicagoland area. Handle ad hoc calls, emails, and eAction Notices in the HRIS system to reflect status changes. Work a flexible 30-40-hour schedule including occasional weekend coverage, fully remote.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or Associates Degree
- Exhibit strong organizational skills

- Proficiency with anticipating employer's staffing needs

- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Keeping client satisfaction at the forefront of all activities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all staffing contacts
- Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use other technology tools such as HRIS systems, web-based texting platforms, or similar tools
- Must be able to handle staffing requirements in a flexible schedule

Desired Qualifications
- Staffing or recruiting experience in a client-oriented, healthcare role; minimum one year
