Job Summary
Staffing Coordinator responsible for interfacing with supplemental staffing software and ensuring shift operational excellence. Monitors scheduled and unscheduled absences, leverages the temporary pool to address shortages, maintains temp pool staff availability and contact information, produces reports to identify absence trends, supports overtime management, maintains staffing records in accordance with policies, coordinates work and vacation schedules, assesses long-term staffing needs, and communicates plans to the manager. Also interacts with external and internal customers and responds to customer requests promptly. Requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years' work experience
- Analytical ability to problem solve
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to proofread staffing schedules for errors
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication competence (written, oral, interpersonal)
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to take direction from management
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and articulate them effectively
