Job Summary
Create and maintain staff schedules ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Adjust schedules for last-minute changes, monitor time-off requests, and track attendance to align staffing levels with census and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with department heads, nurses, and HR to address staffing shortages, manage recruitment support, and facilitate new hire onboarding. Respond to scheduling inquiries and conflicts while maintaining compliance with labor laws and facility policies. Participate in emergency staffing situations and on-call rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in staffing, scheduling, or administration in a healthcare or long-term care setting

- Degree or certification in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with staff and management
