Job Summary
Staffing Coordinator in an acute rehabilitation hospital focused on proactive nursing scheduling, real-time staffing adjustments, and coordination with nursing units to maintain safe patient care. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining daily/weekly/monthly schedules aligned with census and acuity, coordinating with internal staff and agency resources, managing call-ins and overtime, and generating staffing metrics and reports for leadership. Requires a nursing license (LVN/CNA) and current BLS; 2-3 years of inpatient rehab staffing experience; proficiency with Paylocity HRIS; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice vocational nursing or a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state where currently practicing.
- Current BLS via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- 2 - 3 years' experience with staffing in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting.
- Experience managing Paylocity HRIS scheduling tools a plus.
- Familiarity with patient classification/acuity systems.
- Speaks and communicates English effectively in verbal and written format.
