Staffing Coordinator Healthcare

Job Summary
Create and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for every shift. Coordinate staffing for open shifts, call-ins, vacations, and other scheduling needs while maintaining accurate daily and monthly staffing records. Assist with payroll verification by ensuring nursing staff hours are accurate and track employee attendance to communicate concerns with nursing leadership. Partner with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to support daily operations, help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local staffing requirements, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Foster positive communication with residents, families, employees, and visitors to promote a safe, organized, and resident-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing leadership and other departments

- Previous scheduling, staffing, healthcare, or administrative experience
