Job Summary
Staffing Coordinator and Floater in Home Care: coordinates staffing of field staff for client care, schedules shifts, answers inquiries, maintains care plans and documentation, participates in hiring/orientation, ensures confidentiality, and supports on-call coverage. Responsibilities include scheduling staff across zones, verifying schedules, maintaining reports (Clinician Availability, Clockworks Exceptions, Double Booked, Incomplete Visit), entering new client inquiries, tracking hours, and ensuring timely completion of shifts. Floater duties include personal care support (bathing, dressing, mobility assistance), light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship. Requires healthcare staffing experience, caregiver experience, strong organization, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in healthcare staffing, strongly preferred. Medicaid staffing experience required.
- 2 or more years of experience as a professional caregiver, required
- Active driver's license, reliable transportation and current car insurance, required
- Average to above average computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player dedicated to providing high level of customer service
- Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with all employees
- Ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively
- Ability to take overnight weekday and weekend call as needed
- Every other weekend availability is required
- Physical requirements: ability to participate in physical activity, extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.
