Job Summary
Manage staffing according to patient schedules and care needs by working closely with caregivers to ensure timely and effective care delivery. Serve as the main point of contact for caregivers, clients, and families to communicate schedule changes and service issues. Collaborate with recruitment to address staffing challenges, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, while maintaining accurate records of staff schedules, client status changes, complaints, and incidents. Keep a daily staff/call log and follow up on any concerns or issues with clients and families. Be available after hours, including weekends, for urgent staffing needs and issues on a rotating basis. This role supports Always Compassionate Health's mission to deliver high-quality community home-based services across New York.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in home care settings
- Familiarity with NYS Department of Health healthcare operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices
- Background in customer service and attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to document and communicate staff assignments and changes to supervisors and relevant parties
- Ability to manage staffing needs efficiently and with attention to the care needs of patients
- Ability to work after hours and weekends on a rotating on-call basis
Desired Qualifications
