Job Summary
Staffing Business Developer responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to account management to expand our Gulf Coast footprint in industrial and technical staffing. Hunt and prospect new opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn, and networking; develop strategic plans to grow the customer base in petrochemical, energy, and mechanical sectors. Employ consultative selling to tailor staffing solutions (temporary, temp-to-hire, direct-hire); build and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers, Procurement, and HR; present tailored proposals and negotiate contracts. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or staffing/recruitment (industrial/technical staffing experience highly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional sales skills including cold calling, presentation, negotiation, and closing capabilities
- Familiarity with industrial, mechanical, or safety staffing is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Highly organized, self-motivated, proactive hunter mentality
