Job Summary
Senior BIM/VDC Engineer responsible for managing and designing BIM models for large, fast-moving infrastructure projects. Lead the setup and maintenance of large, federated models across multiple disciplines and geographies; coordinate design team outputs and third-party vendors; integrate layout work with BIM tools, drive digital delivery, and support cost-tracking alignment with BIM parameters. Requires strong Revit/Autodesk proficiency, experience with point clouds, drones for aerial surveying, potential Revit API automation, and prior team leadership; a sustainability focus is encouraged. Full-time role based in McCarran, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering OR 5-8 years of hands-on experience
- Expert knowledge with Revit and Autodesk software
- Experience with point clouds and laser scanners
- Experience in aerial surveying using drones; FAA Remote Pilot Certification is a plus
- Experience in model automations using Revit API
- Experience leading a small team for rapid technical solution rollout
- Experience interfacing with construction and cost control on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parameters
- A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place
