Job Summary
Lead design and development of UEFI firmware for high-performance server platforms within the EDK2 framework; architect Host-to-BMC IPC mechanisms (e.g., MCTP over MMBI/I2C/USB or eSPI) to enable secure, high-speed data exchange between the x86 Host and the Axiado Security Processor/BMC; drive validation of BIOS-side management and security features (I3C_MNG, I3C_DBG, data-filtering); triage low-level firmware issues across Intel/AMD/Arm platforms; ensure compliance with industry standards such as ACPI, PCIe, and SMBIOS while driving Secure Boot and related resilience; 10+ years of UEFI firmware experience; strong C/C++ for firmware; deep knowledge of x86, ACPI, PCIe; Host-to-BMC communication protocols; expertise in Secure Boot, TPM2.0, NIST SP 800-193; hands-on EDK2; remote debugging tools.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in UEFI firmware development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for firmware programming
- Deep understanding of x86 architecture, ACPI, PCIe, VGA and memory management
- Experience in Host-to-BMC communication protocols and troubleshooting SMBIOS/ACPI table handoffs for remote management
- Expertise in hardware-anchored security such as Secure Boot, TPM2.0, NIST SP 800-193, Secure Flash update and firmware integrity checks
- Hands-on experience with EDK2 firmware development
- Experience with remote debugging tools and firmware validation methodologies
