Job Summary
Provides quality physiotherapy services including clinical assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention implementation and evaluation, and discharge planning to maintain optimal function and well-being. Delivers education and guidance to other healthcare providers and educational systems; provides clinical supervision and training for students and participates in education of healthcare professionals upon request. Maintains professional accountability, sound judgment, and collaborative practice; must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba and meet provincial licensing requirements; CPR training per policy. May involve evenings/weekends and extended hours per unit needs. In-person role based in Winnipeg; maternity-leave term with starting ASAP. Familiarity with pediatric/educational settings and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or approved equivalent if internationally educated
- Must be registered on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
- CPR training requirements per Employer policy
- Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association preferred
- Desire to participate in supervision of students and education of healthcare professionals
- Ability to establish interpersonal relationships and effective written and verbal communication
