Job Summary
Review, redline, and update mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and BOMs while adhering to company standards and QMS procedures. Assist in writing assembly and maintenance manuals, coordinate system packaging and delivery, and provide labor estimates for project planning. Perform hands-on tasks including soldering, fixture assembly, and using power tools to build and maintain electro-mechanical prototypes. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain build space organization. Travel to customer sites for deliveries and on-site rework as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or GED
- 3 to 10 years of professional hands-on experience as a Technician
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Background checks are required
Desired Qualifications
- Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Associate degree from an accredited university
- Assembly of electro-mechanical fixtures and prototypes
- Ability to work from 2D and 3D documentation
- Experience working with fixtures, ESD sensitive parts, 3D printed parts, cables, and contact crimping
- Comfortable with running test equipment
- Comfortable working with delicate parts and assemblies
- Experience soldering
- Ability to maintain build space, equipment, and tools
- Comfortable drilling, tapping, cutting, and filing with the use of hand, or power tools
