Job Summary
Staff Technical Program Manager at Fever will partner with Staff Engineers and engineering leaders to translate architectural direction into executable programs across multiple teams, surface risks early, and create visibility to deliver improvements in developer experience, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end planning for cross-squad initiatives (platform modernization, CI/CD improvements, reliability upgrades, system migrations), aligning technical strategy with execution milestones, managing dependencies, coordinating post-merger technical integrations, and building dashboards for leadership visibility and accountability. The role emphasizes reducing bureaucracy, fostering cross-functional alignment among Engineering, Product, and Security, and driving architecture-to-execution with strong communication to executive audiences. Nice-to-have experiences include post-merger integrations, high-volume live entertainment or e-commerce systems, and distributed, multi-time-zone collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Significant and relevant experience in technical program management or engineering leadership (7+ years preferred)
- Strong technical fluency across SDLC, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, observability, release processes, and architecture trade-offs
- Ability to read technical discussions and turn complex architecture into practical execution plans
- High comfort operating in ambiguity and influencing without formal authority
- Excellent communication skills to work with Staff Engineers and executive leaders
- Strong judgement and bias for action with a service mindset
