Staff Technical Product Marketing Manager, Context Engineering

Job Summary
Lead positioning, messaging, and product adoption for MongoDB's context engineering portfolio, including MCP Server, Agent Skills, and VoyageAI. Drive strategy and execution by aligning roadmap and go-to-market plans with Product Management, Engineering, Developer Relations, Partners, Solutions Architecture, and Sales. Enable teams with data-driven persona development for agent builders and coding agents, then craft technical content explaining connectivity, guardrails, and infrastructure to help developers ship production-grade code. Serve as the subject matter expert on agentic engineering adoption, gathering and synthesizing data on tool-call volume, plugin installs, and usage across diverse developer platforms. Execute cross-functional launch strategies for new agent tooling to grow adoption and revenue. Based in Dublin for a hybrid model, this role requires 7-10 years of experience in technical product marketing, AI, or developer tools.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years in product marketing, product management, developer relations, or solutions engineering
- experience in B2B technology, AI/ML, cloud, and/or developer tools
- strong track record of success
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- ability to bring strong, data-driven judgment to day-to-day work
- High-bar communication (both verbal and written)
- ability to influence the priorities of cross-functional teams and senior leaders
- Deep understanding of the agentic development stack — Model Context Protocol, coding agent tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex), CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
- ability to effectively connect a product area to its business impact
- Genuine empathy for developer and platform-team pain points
- ability to understand the common use cases and implementation specifics customers face when adopting coding agents
- A strong bias for action
- ability to decompose problems into effective solutions
- ability to drive execution cross-functionally
- ability to effectively represent the company as a subject matter expert in executive-level customer calls, analyst briefings, and public appearances
- based in Dublin
