Job Summary
Prepare a wide range of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns, while conducting tax planning and research to identify opportunities for savings and minimize liabilities. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and provide exceptional service, staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Assist in the resolution of tax-related issues from authorities and contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes and procedures. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior team members while participating in firm events.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
- Experience in a public accounting firm
- Intermediate knowledge of tax rules and regulations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems
- Understanding of technology tools used in tax preparation and research
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate complex tax scenarios
- Ability to provide innovative solutions
