Job Summary
Lead configuration, debugging, and support for information technology solutions while managing purchase requests for hardware and software. Drive root cause analysis, debugging, and post-mortem analysis for security incidents and service interruptions, ensuring operational stability of existing systems. Lead the stand up of necessary system software, hardware, and equipment to meet changing infrastructure needs, and create specifications for technology solutions. Collaborate with product teams to enable them with infrastructure, maintain documentation, and act as a mentor to junior engineers. Participate in the selection and implementation of physical and virtual infrastructure, including AI models and analytic models, to support strategic technology recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in z/OS ISPF, JCL, JES2, etc.
- Experience in z/OS DB2 administration, working with DDL, DML, DCL, DB2 commands, and SQL
- Experience in the DB2 Utilities (i.e., COPY, QUIESCE, REPAIR, REORG, LOAD, etc.)
- Understand RACF Security Monitor instances for events and resolutions/escalations
- Perform triage and troubleshooting database issues in timely manner
- Experience in DB2 SQL and Q Replication
- Develop scripting to automate DB2 administration tasks
- Comfortable in finding opportunities to improve availability, reliability, and performance of DB2 databases
- Proficient in Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- REXX development language knowledge to simplify/automate database administration activities
- Broadcom Detector and Subsystem Analyzer experience
- DB2 for z/OS v12+ experience
- DB2 expertise for performance tuning
- Experience managing large tablespaces
- Endevor experience
- On-call rotation
