Job Summary
Provide L3 engineering and support for Email and Messaging technologies, including Exchange Online, hybrid deployments, and email security solutions. Manage compliance policies, email archiving, and automation tools while collaborating with the Information Security Office to address alerts and maintain system security. Deliver technical consultancy to operations and end users to resolve outages and service disruptions, documenting creative engineering solutions and liaising with cross-functional teams. Perform related duties as needed, including monitoring performance and implementing alerting mechanisms.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years' work experience in relevant technologies comprising of Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, Email gateways, Email security devices and SAAS solutions for Email security
- Equivalent professionally qualified education and experience such as Associates or bachelor's degree in computer science or other technology field
- Microsoft and/or other relevant certifications
- High level of competence in O365
- High level of competence in Microsoft Exchange
- High level of competence in Email Security gateways
- High level of competence in Email Security appliances
- High level of competence in SAAS solutions for Email security
- Strong understanding of Email flow
- Strong understanding of High availability
- Strong understanding of Disaster Management and recovery
- Strong understanding of other messaging technologies such as archiving solutions
- Good knowledge of understanding and implementing Email security policies
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective oral/written communication skills
- Experience of leading technology deployments on moderately complex cross regional projects, including planning, documentation, and implementation
- Experience with network infrastructure and security principles
- Ability to Multi-task and work with minimum supervision and be self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among multiple concurrent projects while also handling interruptions
- Ability to Develop automation and self-service mechanisms to reduce friction using the platform and ensure secure, efficient transfer of data between internal and external systems
- Ability to Monitor performance, implement alerting, and proactively resolve errors that arise through automation
- Enthusiastic positive attitude towards working in a team environment
- Available outside office hours for 3rd level support
- At least 3 days in office
- Travel 5-10% of the time
