Job Summary
Staff Survivability and Operations Analysis Engineer role within Archer Defense and Advanced Programs. The position focuses on incubating, marketing, capturing, and executing advanced survivability programs across aerospace defense portfolios, involving design, analysis, fabrication, testing of survivability technologies (RCS, IR, acoustics), and leading Operations Analysis across multiple disciplines using modeling and simulation environments (e.g., AFSIM). Requires 6-10 years in aerospace, a BS in engineering/computer science/physics/math (MS/PhD desired), US citizenship, and ability to obtain DoD security clearance. Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustics, mission systems, sensors, communications, and propulsion systems; proficiency with CAD, Python, MATLAB. Bonus qualifications include MBSE, SysML, DoDAF, and experience with customers. Salary base range targeted at $130,800 - $179,900 with no current visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- BS engineering, computer science, physics, or math
- 6-10 years’ experience in aerospace or related field
- experience with design, analysis, fabrication, and test of survivability technologies (RCS, IR, Acoustics)
- ASE, and mission systems; Operations Analysis including modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM
- knowledge of domestic and international threat systems
- experience leading and working across engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines
- US citizenship
- ability to obtain DoD security clearance
- Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic, mission systems, sensors, communications, dynamic and propulsion (electric, hybrid, gas turbine) systems, CAD, Python, MATLAB
- Bonus: Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, DoDAF, experience with customers
