Job Summary
Oversee large-scale aerospace projects from concept development through validation and production support; develop, review, and optimize complex engineering designs and systems; interface with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements ensuring alignment on technical objectives, schedules, and deliverables; review and approve technical drawings and documentation; lead technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies; oversee development and validation of comprehensive finite element models (FEM) for large-scale projects; implement best practices for structural analysis and FEM; contribute to organizational capability development and reinforce engineering excellence within the aerospace industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- 10–14 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering, structural analysis, finite element modeling, or related engineering disciplines
- Demonstrated experience leading complex aerospace engineering projects and technical teams
- Current U.S. Secret Security Clearance preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance required
