Job Summary
Staff Storage & DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and operating enterprise storage platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. Focus on provisioning, migrations, performance tuning, capacity planning, and HA/DR strategies, with hands-on work across SAN/NAS/Object storage and deep Linux administration. Drive automation for storage and infra tasks using Ansible, Chef, and Python, integrated into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Collaborate with platform and application teams during builds, migrations, and upgrades, and optimize storage cost, performance, and reliability in large-scale enterprise settings.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Storage, Linux, and Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Strong experience with DevOps and automation tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Chef, Python scripting
- Deep Linux expertise (RHEL/OEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Expertise with storage technologies: SAN, NAS, Object storage; familiarity with FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB
- Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud storage services
- Experience leading storage migration projects (array-to-array, on-prem to cloud, tech refresh)
- Ability to design and implement HA, replication, backup, and DR strategies for storage services
- Proven ability to collaborate with platform and application teams during builds, migrations, and upgrades
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
