On-siteLongmont, Colorado, United States
Job Summary
Design, develop, integrate, and test High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon systems and beam control systems, including hardware integration, data processing, and performance documentation. Develop test setups to evaluate parameters, execute complex integration activities, and support field tests while managing schedules with minimal daily direction. Install, align, and integrate optics, electro-optics, and mechanics in clean room environments, utilizing MATLAB, LabVIEW, and firmware for real-time control and auto-alignment algorithms. Troubleshoot constrained opto-mechanical alignment problems and write technical reports. This role supports nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc.'s development of Directed Energy systems for the U.S. military and allies.
