Job Summary
Design and develop highly scalable backend services for the Omni Catalog Service, lead architecture and cross-functional projects, drive integration with downstream event-driven platforms, and contribute to migration to a new platform. You will work on building scalable catalog microservices, participate in high-visibility projects, and provide technical direction with experience in RESTful services, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, Python, NoSQL, cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, OpenStack), and distributed systems. The role emphasizes automation-first testing, API design, and operational excellence in a 24/7 environment, with opportunities to influence engineering practices and collaborate across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility into products
- Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and accessible software
