Job Summary
Senior/Staff Software Engineer role for a PE-backed, B2B SaaS retail-technology company. Fully remote within the United States. The stack is TypeScript end-to-end with Next.js on the frontend, TypeScript-based microservices on the backend, running in AWS. The team is small and tenured, with meaningful greenfield work and a mandate to accelerate product velocity; the engineer will contribute to shipping high-quality, full-stack software, collaborating with an engineering leader to drive decisive outcomes. Key skills include TypeScript production experience, Next.js, full-stack development, AWS, and backend microservices experience, with production-grade experience on both frontend and backend.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- TypeScript as a primary, daily-use language in production — 3+ years minimum
- Full stack experience with real reps on both frontend and backend
- Next.js shipped in a production environment — not just React familiarity
- Backend microservices experience
- Hands-on AWS experience in a production environment
