Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer for the ServiceNow platform responsible for architecture, design, and extensibility of LinkedIn's ServiceNow solutions across IT Operations, HR, Finance, and Workplace systems. Lead design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions, govern CMDB/Asset Management to ensure data quality and lifecycle integrity, act as technical authority across SAM, ITOM, SPM, and analytics, design scalable CMDB models, build platform analytics and dashboards, define patterns and guardrails, partner with Product Management and Security to translate goals into robust technical solutions, mentor engineers, and drive troubleshooting and documentation. Requires BA/BS, 10+ years in software design/development, hands-on ServiceNow HR/TSM experience, CMDB and asset governance expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, India.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
- 10+ years of software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HR/TSM Modules (Creating Service Catalogs, Record Producers, Portal, Workflows, and Orchestration)
- Hands-on expertise with CMDB architecture, discovery, normalization, reconciliation rules, and CI lifecycle management
- Understanding of asset lifecycles, license compliance, software normalization, and hardware asset governance
