Job Summary
Define architecture and technical patterns for PHP/Laravel and Node.js microservices, ensuring seamless integration between core services and AWS. Drive governed AI adoption by establishing team-level practices for automated testing, static analysis, and security checks to maintain compliance with PHI and auditability policies. Optimize delivery flow by fixing weak AI outputs through systematic improvements to repository instructions, prompts, and evaluation rules, while mentoring engineers on effective AI orchestration and manual judgment. Partner with Product Owners to translate business requirements into clear technical plans optimized for AI-assisted tools, ensuring all AI-assisted changes are rigorously verified before production. Maintain a 0% increase in critical defects while accelerating delivery speed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- deep technical command of PHP (Laravel)
- deep technical command of Node.js
- Proven experience designing scalable RESTful APIs
- Proven experience designing distributed microservices
- Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience designing optimized databases
- Hands-on experience moving beyond basic LLM chat to orchestrate parallel, multi-agent workflows for autonomous code and test generation
- Strong background in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright)
- A strong 'verify output' mindset
- Clear verbal and written skills
