Job Summary
Staff Backend Engineer responsible for the backend services and data pipelines powering a high-visibility health-report product. Own end-to-end backend from ingesting third-party presence signals (Google, Yelp, menus, LLM GEO signals) to delivering reliable results at scale. Harden the platform for expansion by reducing latency, improving uptime, and building observability/alerting layers. Establish platform foundations through shared abstractions, runbooks, and architectural patterns that reduce toil. Partner with PLG product and AI/agents teams as the product expands into new scoring dimensions and AI-powered capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience
- ownership of production backend services
- experience building and operating data pipelines
