Job Summary
Design a modern cloud-native platform with Elixir at its core, including fine-grained access control for clinical data and infrastructure for 24/7 uptime with rolling deployments and failover. Architect a next-generation integration engine to connect ventilators, bedside monitors, and imaging equipment in real time, while reworking data workflows between nurses, doctors, and administrators. Build from scratch without legacy systems to handle mission-critical patient care in Emergency Departments, ICUs, and Operating Rooms. Work onsite three days a week in a fast-paced, collaborative team to tackle novel technical challenges that lack prior precedent.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency with object oriented and functional programming
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative team environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Intellectually curious with a growth mindset
- Experience building 0-1 with a strong product sense
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to articulate technical decisions, trade-offs, and best practices
- Expectation of working onsite three days a week
