Job Summary
Design a modern cloud-native platform using Elixir, Phoenix, and Python from scratch to power clinical workflows for hospitals. Develop a fine-grained access control system for patient data, architect integration engines for medical hardware, and build infrastructure supporting 24/7 rolling deployments and real-time data sync. Rebuild hospital information systems to connect doctors, nurses, and administrators with intuitive, fast-moving experiences while ensuring fault tolerance in mission-critical environments. Work onsite three days a week in a collaborative team tackling novel engineering challenges with a focus on clean, robust code and first-principles thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency with object oriented and functional programming
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative team environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Intellectually curious with a growth mindset
- Experience building 0-1 with a strong product sense
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to articulate technical decisions, trade-offs, and best practices
- Expectation of working onsite three days a week
