Job Summary
Define the technical direction for the platform enabling enterprise customers to run Lovable securely and at scale across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Architect cloud-agnostic systems, design secure sandboxing and runtime environments, and set standards for networking, encryption, and identity. Build internal tools to accelerate engineering velocity while partnering directly with enterprise clients and cloud providers on complex infrastructure challenges. Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions for distributed systems operating under demanding production workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Staff-level (or equivalent) software engineer
- deep platform and infrastructure experience
- track record of setting technical direction
- Experience architecting platform or infrastructure systems that have scaled in production
- Experience building enterprise products and working with enterprise customers
- Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience designing distributed systems used across multiple teams
- Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, Java, C++, or similar
- Experience building secure, reliable systems operating under demanding production workloads
- Experience operating at Staff, Principal, founding engineer, or CTO-level scope
- A product mindset—you care about the people using the systems you build, not just the systems themselves
- someone with strong technical opinions who enjoys shaping how great engineering gets done
