Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer responsible for leading technical decisions related to application and data model design in a Ruby on Rails + React/TypeScript stack. Develop in an agile environment with TDD and pair programming; collaborate with product and design to shape the application; maintain stable, performant stacks; participate in on-call rotations to improve system reliability and availability; lead a team in making technical decisions and contribute to overall code quality. Remote-first culture with an NYC office and coworking reimbursements. Healthcare technology domain focusing on digital ordering platforms for medical equipment and supplies. Requires 5+ years in a web-based production environment and 3+ years with Ruby on Rails; experience with React and TypeScript; AWS familiarity is a plus.
