Staff Software Engineer (.net C#, Microservices, Cloud distributed and native app development)

Job Summary
Architect, design, and migrate software applications to translate Microbiology's strategic vision into technical reality. Develop and maintain innovative medical software applications, implementing designs, unit tests, and conducting module testing. Lead small teams of developers, coach junior members on standard practices, and guide Scrum teams through deep technical design discussions and Agile implementations. Collaborate with business partners, architects, and product managers to set goals and ensure software quality and customer satisfaction. Work with globally distributed teams in Bangalore and Sacramento, reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 12-15 years of experience with: .Net, C#, WPF and unit testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of technical principals, theories, and concepts in Software Development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with familiarity of design and architectural patterns
- Proficiency working with software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum using Azure DevOps
- Experience working with code versioning tools including Git and SVN
- Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and strong collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate software and system design
Desired Qualifications
- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Continuous Integration experience (CI/CD)
- Experience developing regulated medical device software that strictly adheres to design controls and quality management system requirements (FDA CFR 820, ISO 13485)
- Experience with Delphi
