Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated staff software engineer to lead a team on strategic and complex projects. Responsibilities include building and shipping product features end-to-end, mentoring fellow engineers, leading application architecture decisions, troubleshooting software bugs, and implementing back-end APIs in Node.JS. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to open-source projects, requiring proficiency in JavaScript, Node.JS, Ember, and PostgreSQL, along with a strong background in web application development.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience writing REST / JSON APIs
- Experience writing software tests
- Ability to solve technical problems independently
- Motivation to work hard and always be learning
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript
- Experience with Ember.JS
- Experience working on SaaS web applications
- Bonus: Docker or Kubernetes experience
