Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer - Golang (Consumer Team) in Hyderabad leads technical direction and mentorship for the India Partner Integrations/Consumer services, designing and implementing scalable, low-latency Golang-based systems. The role requires 9–13 years of experience, strong Kubernetes/microservices knowledge, AWS or other cloud experience, and a track record of delivering high-quality software at scale. Responsibilities include technical leadership, architectural guidance, production-quality code contributions, data-driven decision making, documentation, and collaboration with global teams. Ideal candidates demonstrate leadership in platform systems, reliability, security practices, and strong written/verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 9–13 years of software development experience
- Golang (Go) proficiency
- Strong CS fundamentals
- Experience with Kubernetes-based microservice architectures
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS preferred)
- Experience building and operating global-scale platform services
- Leadership experience in platform systems and mentoring junior engineers
- Ability to collaborate with remote teams across geographies
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
- Experience with on-call rotation, incident response, and runbooks
- Focus on security best practices and protecting customer data
