Job Summary

Lead design and delivery of cloud-native, enterprise-grade applications by setting technical direction for scalable RESTful APIs and microservices with ASP.NET Core. Identify work scope, justify estimates with facts, and execute in fast-paced Agile delivery modes to meet product release goals. Drive design reviews, define module interfaces, and optimize application performance using best coding practices and core data structures. Mentor a team of 5 to 7 developers while partnering with Product Line Leaders to align on requirements and vision. Champion code quality, testing, and security, with experience integrating AI capabilities into production applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors
  • 8 to 12 years of experience (for roles outside USA)
  • 6 years of experience (for roles in USA)
  • Deep expertise in programming languages (.NET, RESTful APIs and microservices with ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular)
  • Ability to design large-scale, distributed systems
  • Expert-level proficiency in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core (Web API and MVC) and Entity Framework
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs
  • Advanced skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Knockout
  • Deep understanding of SOLID principles, common design patterns, and microservices architectural patterns
  • Track record of applying best practices to build maintainable, scalable systems
  • Practical experience implementing AI/ML features and integrating intelligent capabilities into production applications
  • Strong SQL expertise across multiple database platforms including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
  • Proven experience implementing automated testing strategies across multiple layers: unit tests, integration tests, and UI test automation
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for application containerization and deployment
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
  • Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members
  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
  • Influences through others; builds direct and behind the scenes support for ideas
  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
  • Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
