Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer — Full-Stack, Founding Team role focused on building a greenfield, AI-native platform for healthcare revenue cycle management. You will design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, services, and product surfaces, create agent-driven workflows and analytics to illuminate provider revenue movement, and develop reliable automation at scale. You’ll write specs and patterns to accelerate the team, contribute to interviewing future engineers, and collaborate directly with the CTO. The stack emphasizes TypeScript and Python on Azure with Databricks as the data platform. We’re seeking a senior software engineer with a builder’s mindset, strong fundamentals, and experience shaping early-stage engineering culture. Compensation ranges from $150k to $300k base, plus bonus and long-term incentives; remote-friendly with full-time engagement. The role requires hands-on delivery, architectural judgment, and the ability to work closely with revenue-cycle users to turn complex problems into reliable software.
Required Qualifications
- Must-haves: 7+ years building and shipping production full-stack software
- Deep fundamentals: system design, testing discipline, code-review judgment
- Agentic coding tools are already your default — you can show your workflow
- Ability to define problems and own the outcome rather than just execute a given spec
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years building and shipping production full-stack software
- Experience with TypeScript and Python
- Azure and/or Databricks experience
- Experience building greenfield platforms
- Agentic tooling (Claude Code or equivalents) as part of workflow
- Healthcare/RCM/EDI familiarity (835/837 transactions, payer workflows) is a nice-to-have
- Data-intensive systems experience (pipelines, large-scale ingestion, event-driven processing) is a nice-to-have
