Job Summary
Build great software by turning product requirements into reliable web and mobile applications. Create and manage backend infrastructure including database schemas, API architecture, and orchestration services while leading end-to-end technical execution. Design the platform's architecture and tech stack to balance scalability, speed, and reliability. Contribute to the roadmap by ideating tools for aircraft performance and dispatch settings, and implement novel machine learning algorithms. Work with design, data science, and aviation experts to supercharge features, using code-generation technologies to streamline workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of post college work, or entrepreneurial experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in an engineering discipline (or multiple pieces of evidence of outstanding individual technical achievement)
- End-to-end experience building all parts of software, from front-end to back-end and to cloud deployment
- Ability to create intuitive, clean, and professional products with minimal design influence
- Strong understanding of how to implement and train AI systems into SaaS products and willingness to learn and adapt to building voice agent
- Familiarity with building server-less & micro-service in popular cloud hyperscalers and managing production grade CI/CD pipelines
- Quickly and iteratively respond to needs of customers and turn product changes around on tight timelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with backend development combined with AI-focused front-end development
- Infrastructure experience: k8s, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, Datadog, Docker, and Temporal Orchestration Service
- Strong passion for aviation and/or UAM
- Rich Github history with examples of personal projects that can be shared with the hiring team and/or open-source contributions
- Willingness and ability to transition between mobile and web development
