Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer, frontend leadership role focused on owning and evolving frontend systems across multiple product areas. Responsibilities include shaping frontend technical strategy with product/design, driving architectural evolution, performance improvements, and establishing frontend standards around components, state management, accessibility, and testing. Mentors engineers, guides design reviews, and collaborates with senior leadership to define frontend practice as the company grows. Strong experience with JavaScript/React/React Native, ownership of complex UI platforms, focus on user experience, performance, and long-term maintainability, and ability to operate in ambiguity. Nice-to-have: experience with design systems, mobile performance, accessibility, or internationalization; track record with shared component libraries; exposure to products with real-world impact.
Required Qualifications
