Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer (Backend) at Redpin Hyderabad — Own the architecture for domain success, design and develop robust backend services in Java/Spring Boot, build and maintain high-quality APIs powering web and mobile experiences, and drive performance, security, and reliability across layers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services, champion coding standards, lead through influence with the Engineering Manager and peers, mentor engineers, and elevate engineering practices in CI/CD, observability, testing, and automation. Work on greenfield product catalogue initiatives within a fintech/PropTech context, contributing to long-term architectural strategies and technical roadmaps. Strong emphasis on scalable systems, problem solving, and clear technical leadership in a real-office Hyderabad setting.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale backend or full-stack applications
- Deep expertise in a backend framework such as Spring / Spring Boot
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for building scalable systems
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development
- Solid understanding of Object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Ability to think strategically and drive cross-team alignment
- Strong communication and organizational skills to influence engineering direction
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural decisions
