Job Summary
Design and maintain end-to-end applications powering AI Paralegal workflows, from document ingestion to delivery into practice management systems. Build multimodal LLM pipelines using Claude on AWS Bedrock, improving accuracy with schema validation and self-correcting retry loops. Instrument pipelines for evidence-led optimization and introduce techniques like prompt caching and embeddings for entity matching. Design frontend UX and partner with legal domain experts to refine schemas and acceptance criteria. Operate services on AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and DynamoDB within a Serverless Framework Python monorepo.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of full stack experience in software development
- Experience building service-oriented architecture including using Docker, Lambda, ECS etc
- Demonstrated ability to work with LLMs or generative AI systems - understanding their constraints, strengths, and how to build around their limitations
- Experience with DynamoDB, MySQL/PostgresSQL, etc
- Experience implementing and refining monitoring and observability across the platform
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience in Python and Typescript would be advantageous, but all language experience is considered
