Job Summary
Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects using Redis, Docker, and Terraform on AWS. Drive evaluation, development, and rollout of new common features and frameworks while operating, supporting, and upgrading shared services that scale with business growth. Conduct design and code reviews, write unit and functional tests, and monitor, troubleshoot, and fix services to resolve performance bottlenecks. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers while collaborating with architects, QA, product owners, security, and operations engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 8+ yrs of expansive programming experience in an object-oriented programming language like Java, especially in backend services
- A superior understanding of multithreading, garbage collection, memory management
- 3+ yrs experience of working with MySQL or equivalent relational database systems
- 3+ yrs experience developing, operating, optimizing and troubleshooting web services on Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS EKS
- Experience with GCP
- Demonstrably followed best software engineering principles
- Knowledge of network security, authentication and authorization
- The ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data
- The ability to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status (e.g. a U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) upon hire

- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Tomcat
