Job Summary
Build native cloud-based software leveraging GRAIL's key commercial offerings for the Galleri® Test, my.grail.com, and provider.grail.com using Go, Java, or Python. Develop and lead multiple large cross-functional programs with high complexity, driving improvements for the software engineering organization based on business needs and industry trends. Provide technical leadership through standards, tools, and knowledge requirements while guiding and mentoring team members toward innovation and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or similar technical field or equivalent experience
- 8-12+ years of meaningful work experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications and microservice ecosystems
- Excellent knowledge of: Programming Languages: Go (preferred), Java, Python, JavaScript, C++
- Excellent knowledge of: Frontend: React, Angular
- Excellent knowledge of: Backend: Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, gRPC (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of: Cloud & DevOps: AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform (preferred), Microservices
- Excellent knowledge of: Data: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis
- Excellent knowledge of: Development Practices: CI/CD, Automated Testing, Agile Development
- Experience developing distributed systems on one of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with writing and executing test protocols
- Passion for designing and building practical high-quality software solutions
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to add value to the team!
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with gRPC, terraform, AWS is a plus
