Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer to own deployed software solutions for customers on Anduril's Air Defense family of systems. Solve problems across networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and data processing; collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality; create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring; triage issues and coordinate next steps; partner with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments. Based in Irvine, CA with a focus on mission software that enables warfighters and aligns with the Air Defense team's objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- 10+ years programming experience (Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.)
- Strong Experience with React and Javascript/TypeScript
- Experience with data processing and analysis
- Ability to understand complex systems
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance eligibility
