Job Summary
Staff Software Engineer to contribute across the full stack, shaping system design and architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable backend services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with data scientists and product teams, drive performance and maintainability improvements, and stay current with emerging technologies including AI-assisted and agentic development approaches to improve how we build and operate software.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Node.js and React, ES6+
- Experience with spatial data and GIS technologies
- AWS, microservices, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Active daily use of agentic coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
- Proven ability to work in collaborative, team-driven environments
- Passionate about craft and sharing knowledge
