Job Summary
Staff Software Development Support Engineer responsible for owning escalated, customer-impacting issues across software, cloud, and infrastructure; performing deep technical troubleshooting, analyzing logs/telemetry, debugging at multiple layers, and reproducing issues via automation and test environments. Collaborates with R&D and cross-functional teams to log high-quality defects, proposes fixes, and contributes to architectural designs and observability improvements. Mentors SDS engineers, leads postmortem reviews, and drives systemic improvements to reduce toil, including authoring or reviewing critical PRs and facilitating cross-team execution. Travel and on-call may be required. Strong background in networking, security, or distributed systems, with experience across Linux/Windows/macOS, AWS/Azure, and observability tooling; scripting and automation skills expected; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years in related roles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years in software development or related role
