Job Summary
Act as a technical stakeholder defining the multi-year architectural direction and technical roadmap for the Mid-Market financial products portfolio. Partner with development managers to orchestrate AI agents that architect, review, and write high-quality, well-tested code for scalable web applications. Identify and resolve critical technical blockers while simplifying coding patterns and interfaces to enable elegant solutions for complex billing and payment systems. Mentor peers through constructive code reviews and knowledge sharing within an Agile environment, driving the strategy for high-throughput distributed systems handling invoicing and financial data.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale
- The ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers
- Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products
- A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems
- A portfolio of successful projects (as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow Clions and customers
- Experience building high-throughput and distributed systems that have processed Invoicing, Payments or Financial Products like Payroll
- Candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec
