Job Summary
Site IT Manager role overseeing IT for GE Aerospace engine MRO facilities outside the United States. Responsible for IT infrastructure and applications necessary for shop operations, ensuring performance and availability, partnering with the business on digital improvements, designing and implementing the roadmap for IT across infrastructure and applications, and representing IT on the Shop leadership team. Drives lean/process-improvement initiatives, collaborates with Central DT product teams for faster issue resolution, monitors network performance (WAN/LAN/WLAN), and leads technology modernization efforts to enable business operations. Requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, ability to manage multiple business applications, and a focus on digital tools to enhance site operations.
Required Qualifications
- Expected minimum experience of 5 years in IT leadership or equivalent
- Experience managing IT infrastructure and applications for shop operations or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with WAN/LAN/WLAN networks and monitoring
- Ability to drive digital improvements and lean/process-improvement initiatives
- Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience with change management and implementing monitoring/feedback systems
- Ability to work as part of a shop leadership team and represent IT in business discussions
- Knowledge of business applications used in site operations and digital product catalogs
- Proven ability to plan and execute IT technology roadmaps
- Experience coordinating with central product teams and driving technology obsolescence/improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in MRO or aerospace/industrial environments is a plus
- Relocation willingness and ability to operate in the United Arab Emirates
