Job Summary
Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Micronaut while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Coordinate technical and business aspects of software development, including requirement analysis, design, and implementation across multiple projects. Serve as a principal developer providing expert guidance, mentor engineers, and lead efforts in resolving technical challenges. Act as a point of contact for cross-project technical issues and proactively strategize with teams to identify potential risks. Guide and participate in recruiting top technical talent to support team growth.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with a strong focus on backend applications development
- Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot & Micronaut), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in MySQL, Oracle, and ORM technologies (Hibernate, JPA2)
- Familiarity with Splunk and observability tools (Datadog, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, security, and testing practices
- Excellent communication skills with having consulting mindset
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth
