Job Summary
Lead PCB design activities for Anduril products, delivering high-reliability PCB layouts and manufacturing-ready assemblies. Apply modern design standards to support high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs. Establish internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication outputs; develop and refine processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards. Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple concurrent projects and customer needs, and ensure adherence to IPC CID/CID+ standards. Build and maintain component libraries and facilitate effective communication across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or Design
- Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design
- Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management
- Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certification
- Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools
- Experience with developing component libraries and library management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
