Job Summary
Senior/Staff Agentic AI Engineer roles to design and implement a robust, secure agentic AI platform and drive new agent-driven features from ideation to production. Responsibilities include multi-agent orchestration, state management, guardrails and validation loops for safe medical reasoning, integration with complex medical data (EHRs, imaging pipelines) and internal APIs, collaboration with product managers, clinicians, and data scientists, mentoring engineers, and delivering production-grade systems with CI/CD and comprehensive testing. Required skills include LLMs, agentic architectures, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, Python or Go, microservices, API design, and cloud (AWS/GCP); familiarity with healthcare/regulatory contexts and a hybrid work setup in San Francisco. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff)
- experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic architectures
- experience with orchestration frameworks and vector databases
- proficiency in Python or Go
- understanding of microservices, API design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- ability to design production-grade agentic systems from scratch
- experience with greenfield projects
- ability to mentor junior/mid-level engineers
- familiarity with regulatory/healthcare context (preferred)
- strong problem-solving in ambiguous technical environments
- desire to translate clinical needs into technical architectures
- experience delivering secure, scalable software in healthcare/regulated settings
