Staff Security Engineer- AI Security (remote across Australia)

Job Summary
Define strategic direction and security frameworks for AI systems at scale, leading design and implementation of controls across model training pipelines, inference endpoints, and AI-powered features. Lead novel research into emerging threats and attack vectors, driving threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing focused on prompt injection, model poisoning, and data extraction. Serve as technical authority by leading security reviews and code assessments for AI use cases, while developing detection rules and response playbooks tailored to AI-specific incidents. Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to embed secure-by-design workflows and mentor other security engineers.
